   Day 1 Arrival in Malé & Hulhumalé

   Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), where you will be welcomed by your Secret Paradise tour leader and transferred to your guesthouse in Hulhumalé. Settle in and relax after your flight. Guests arriving before 5:00 PM can join their guide for a traditional Maldivian coffee experience by the beach, offering a first glimpse into the everyday lifestyle of local island communities.    Day 2 Malé City Tour & Guraidhoo

   Begin the day with a guided tour of Malé, the vibrant capital of the Maldives. Explore the fish and local markets, President’s Palace, Sultan Park and the historic Friday Mosque. Enjoy lunch at a waterfront restaurant before taking a local ferry to Guraidhoo in South Malé Atoll. After check-in, relax at the guesthouse or local beach while enjoying the sunset. In the evening, learn about the environmental challenges facing the Maldives, including threats to marine life and responsible tourism practices.    Day 3 Reef Snorkeling & Guraidhoo Island Discovery

   After breakfast, travel by speedboat to two beautiful nearby reefs for an exciting snorkeling experience. Your tour leader will provide guidance on responsible snorkeling, helping you enjoy the underwater world while minimizing your impact on fragile coral ecosystems. In the afternoon, explore Guraidhoo and experience authentic island life. Visit the harbour, mosque and local streets, observe fishermen at work and discover tropical fruit trees. End the day at a local café with traditional hedika, a selection of Maldivian sweet and savoury short eats served with black tea.    Day 4 Maafushi, Seagrass & Coral Conservation

Learn about the history of local island tourism and its positive and negative impacts on island communities. In the afternoon, discover Renee’s Coral Garden and learn about coral rehabilitation. Snorkel around seagrass beds and understand why seagrass is essential for protecting marine ecosystems and supporting ocean life. After dinner at a local café, learn about turtle conservation and the environmental monitoring work of the Olive Ridley Project, preparing you for the next day's turtle snorkeling adventure.    Day 5 Turtle Snorkeling, Sandbank Picnic & Tree Planting

   After breakfast, head out by boat for an unforgettable turtle snorkeling experience. Before entering the water, your tour leader will explain responsible turtle-snorkeling practices to ensure a safe and respectful encounter. Continue to a beautiful Maldivian sandbank, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters. Enjoy a picnic lunch and spend time swimming, snorkeling or simply relaxing on the pristine white sand. On the return journey, keep watch for playful dolphins. Your guide and crew will share interesting information about the different dolphin species and their role in the marine ecosystem. Back on Maafushi, contribute to the local environment by participating in a coconut tree planting activity. Learn about plastic waste management in the Maldives and conservation initiatives working to address the growing challenge of ocean plastic. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the bikini beach or, for those seeking adventure, enjoy snorkeling on Gulhi's house reef.
